The next Samsung Unpacked event is just around the corner – there’s no news on an official date yet, but now we know that. The tech giant will unveil its lineup of flagship phones for 2022, likely called , at an Unpacked event next month, according to a blog post from company president TM Roh.
Roh also hinted that the event will feature a successor to the larger, which hasn’t seen a new version since 2020. Some speculation has it that this successor will come in the form of . Whatever the look of the new Galaxy line, customers can now .
The company announced a host of products at its five Unpacked events last year. In January (the same week as CES 2021), the company unveiled thewith a Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and . The flagship line was presented together with the Y . Then in March, Samsung announced the , followed by new in April. Later in August, Samsung unveiled the , , Y . New options for they were then announced in October.

What day is the next Samsung event?
Despite confirming that the next Unpacked will arrive in February, Samsung has not announced an exact date for the conference. A report by Korean publication DDaily speculates that the event will take place on February 8. This lines up with earlier gossip from Jon Prosser, the founder of Front Page Tech and a well-known leaker (albeit with a mixed track record), who claimed Samsung’s next flagship phone lineup will be revealed on that day.. Leaker Ice Universe, however, suggests that the Galaxy S22 will be announced on February 9.
Earlier this month, before, Samsung introduced its follow-up to the affordable Galaxy S20 FE, called the . The new phone is a cheaper version of the Galaxy S21 range with some smart features and spec sacrifices to hit a lower price point.
Samsung also hosted February events in 2020 and 2019, but both were the company’s first event of the year. The launches showcased foldable phones, headsets, and the company’s S lineup with the S20 and S10, respectively. Both events were followed by another launch in August focused on the Galaxy Note and Galaxy Watch.
Will the next Galaxy Unpacked be broadcast live?
Many other recent Samsung Galaxy Unpacked events have been livestreamed, so the next release is likely to follow suit.
