Teen mom’s Kailyn Lowry says she doesn’t give Christmas presents to her kids!

While other families are giving away tons of gifts at Christmas, Kailyn Lowry has its own festive tradition – which excludes typical giving!

According to AND! Messages, the 29 year old Teenage mother Star jumped up recently Instagram stories to answer some fan questions. At one point a person asked:

“Do you get your dogs Christmas presents like me?”

Similarly: TikToker traded a single hairpin for a house in less than 2 years!

To which she replied and revealed that she will not have her four children, 11 years old Isaac Rivera, 8 years old Lincoln Marshall, 4 years old Lux Russell, and 14 months old Romello Creed, all gifts for the holiday:

“I don’t even get Christmas presents for my children.”

Of course, her answer immediately raised a few eyebrows. Another social media user then asked a question:

“Wait, you won’t get any Christmas presents for your children?”

Lowry then clarified:

“Not from me, no. Some of you are curious and some of you are really upset about it. All I know is that my kids won’t go without it. Let them have something that they only do with their fathers. “

When someone else pushed for more details as to why the children weren’t getting presents, MTV Personality went on to explain:

“I’ve been through this many times, but I’m sick of fighting [with] the fathers [about] there & gave up. Every time I had the kids for Christmas, my other family members were with their families / children in the opposite year and we started taking big vacations about 5 years ago. So Christmas can be with their fathers and they don’t have to worry about dividing it up. “

Honestly, a vacation sounds like a wonderful gift – but it’s just us! Lowry said her little ones “look forward to our family vacation every year,” before adding:

“My children don’t want or need for [sic] everything and I am grateful for it. Maybe one day we will celebrate another day without presents. “

Apparently this is not the first time that mom has brought up this topic. She previously told her co-host, Lindsie Chrisley, during a November 2020 episode of their Coffee convos Podcast:

“We don’t do anything, I just won’t have them so they don’t have to get things for each other. I could ask them if they want to buy something for Christmas, and if they say yes, then of course I would make it easier. They’ll be with their fathers, I’m pretty sure, by the end of Christmas Day, so I have a feeling maybe it’ll be over by then, but I don’t know either. It might be nice to give something to each other, so maybe we’ll see. “

Then she redoubled her decision not to exchange gifts:

“It’s kind of sad, and I understand that. I definitely understand that. I just feel like it is a lot and so much money that I spent on Christmas gifts and then I only got them for half the day and then I had to share. It was just so busy that I would never have three happy dad situations. “
