There are around 79 million vegans worldwide and around 9.7 million people in the United States have a vegetarian or plant-based diet. A new study, titled The Power of Meat Report, showed that the number of self-identified meat eaters decreased from 85 percent to 71 percent in 2020. There is a surge in new vegan foods to meet demand. It has never been easier to adopt a vegan lifestyle.
