For a while, Brendan Fraser was everywhere.
In the late 1990s and early 1990s, the actor became a major movie star with roles in films such as George from the jungle, The Mummy franchise, Encino Man and Crash.

Recently, fans have turned their backs on the actor as he prepares for a long-awaited one Hollywood comeback in DC’s upcoming Batgirl Movie.
Coincidentally, filming began on December 3rd, Fraser’s 53rd birthday. And the fans were delighted to see the actor in a new photo from the set after all this time.

Why did Brendan Fraser stop acting?
In 2018, Fraser claimed to be “blacklisted” by Hollywood. Fraser commented on an interview with GQ claims he is Sexually abused by a former president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
Fraser claimed the HFPA’s Philip Berk attacked him at the Beverly Hills Hotel in 2003. This alleged incident resulted in Fraser falling into depression.

After the ordeal, Fraser claimed he was rarely invited to the Golden Globes which hosts the HFPA.
“I don’t know if that has been relaxed with the group, with the HFPA. But the silence was deafening, ”said Fraser. “In your career the phone stops ringing and you wonder why. There are many reasons, but was that one of them? I think it was.”
Fraser believed the incident caused him to retire from public life.

In 2007, the star’s difficult separation from his ex-wife Afton Smith dealt another blow. The ex-couple divorced in 2008 and he was asked to pay child support for their three children.
By 2013, Fraser filed for a cut on his alimony because he could no longer afford the annual payments of $ 900,000 (approximately $ 1.2 million).
He asked the court to reduce the payment for lack of work.
